Child 44 (2015)
Comments
Despite the poor reviews this film received, overall I found it quite enjoyable. The storyline held enough mystery while the telling had enough pace to keep me interested. That's not to say my companion held the same view -- a regular cinemagoer who usually enjoys gritty war-related dramas, the story was not compelling enough to hold her attention for the full 137 minutes.
